Ferrari Team President Luca di Montezemolo has admitted that Kimi Raikkonen's place in the team is not guaranteed for next year while stating Felipe Massa deserves another chance.

Montezemolo fuelled speculation of Fernando Alonso's possible switch to Ferrari next year by failing to confirm Raikkonen's position after having said the following about Massa "We will have a Brazilian driver because he deserves another chance given that, thank God, he is fine" followed by "Otherwise, we are mulling the best choice but we still have time. We will decide in a few weeks."

Raikkonen has constantly insisted he has a contract for next year with Ferrari, but has never verified that he will be driving for Ferrari next year.
